Kailey LaValliere is a fine art photographer whose work focuses in constructed portraiture. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota, emphasizing in photography. Kailey is currently working towards a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Academy of Art University with plans to graduate in August of 2019.

Domestication is a fine art self-portraiture series that explores the similarities between humans and dogs, was inspired by Kailey’s own close bond with her Boxer, Bob and Giant Schnauzer-Lab, Daisy. The photographs portray Bob and Daisy living out day-to-day life as a married couple. Along with her two dogs, Kailey also lives with her husband, Tanner in Okinawa, Japan where she currently works as a photographer for a travel and culture magazine.
