I’ve been working in the marketing and advertising industry for 7+ years and have a broad experience in different aspects of the industry. Photography is at the core of my creativity and I have been practicing the medium since 2011.
I earned a B.S. in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Photography from Black Hills State University in 2015. In 2019 I earned an MFA in Fine Art Photography from the Academy of Art University.
In 2016, I married my husband who is an active duty Marine. His job has moved us to various places around the US and even Japan. I’ve had a variety of experiences through our moves including working as a marketing photographer for a culture and travel magazine in Okinawa, Japan. While stationed in Minnesota, I worked as a Marketing Manager for a wedding and events venue.
We recently relocated to Oceanside, CA where my husband is stationed at Camp Pendleton. We have three children and in my free time I love spending time outdoors, doing pottery, baking and having fun outside with my family.
My goal is to capture your childrens' true, authentic personalities. Sometimes that means they aren't looking at the camera but rather, they are getting love from mom or dad or being goofy with a sibling. Kids AND parents will have a much happier and memorable experience when we don't put so much pressure on them to smile perfectly and look at the camera.
